Wood Group ESP appoints new VP

Wood Group ESP, a subsidiary of international energy services company John Wood Group PLC, has appointed Brian Sevin to the position of vice president – Latin American Operations, with responsibility for further developing the company’s electric submersible and surface pump activities in Mexico, and Central and South America. Mr. Sevin was previously vice president, Business Development and Marketing. With 25 years of experience in the artificial lift industry-15 of those with Wood Group ESP-Mr. Sevin brings an in-depth understanding of electric submersible pump sales and operations to his new position. While serving as region manager of the Southwest U.S. region, he helped develop and establish that region as one of the premier regions in the company. In addition, he helped guide the successful launch of the SPS(tm) Surface Pumping System product line. Mr. Sevin earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Tech University, and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the Petroleum Equipment Suppliers Association (PESA).
