International companies are forming alliances as the deadline nears for submission of expressions of interest (EoI) for Abu Dhabi’s USD 3 billion seventh independent water and power project (IWPP) – Fujairah II. The last date for submission of EoI is 25 October, 2006. Once EoIs are submitted, pre-qualifications will take place. The green-field project will have a capacity of 2000MW of power and 100 million gallons a day of water.
