New three-piece lead-free ball valve

NIBCO INC. has recently expanded its line of lead-free valves with the introduction of the three-piece Fig. T/S-595-Y-LF and Fig. T/S-595-Y-66-LF ball valves. NIBCO® lead-free valves are specifically designed for use in residential and commercial applications that deliver water for human consumption, and the manufacturer was first-to-market with its three-piece lead-free valve offering in response to new legislation reducing levels of lead in potable water. The new ball valves are third-party certified to NSF/ANSI 61-G and also conform to dimensional and workmanship requirements of MSS SP-110. Features of the new ball valve offerings include full port, blowout-proof stem, PTFE seats, optional stainless steel trim, 600 PSI CWP and are available in sizes ¼”, 3/8″, ½”, ¾”, 1″, 1-1/4″, 1-1/2″, 2″ and 2-1/2″. NIBCO three-piece ball valves can be installed by soldering, brazing, or a threaded connection.
