New pumps for water treatment

The new Series 7000 mechanical diaphragm metering pumps from Neptune Chemical Pump Co. Inc. can handle viscosities in excess of 5000 cps and pump gassing media, such as sodium hypochlorite, without binding. Available in seven models, the new line is self-priming and provides suction lift of up to 20 feet in municipal and wastewater applications. The maximum flow rate capability in the series is 300 gph at 150 psi of pressure. The lowest entry model starts at just 15 gph. The pump can be specified with a 100 mm or a 200 mm liquid-end diaphragm and a choice of four gear speeds starting at 18 spm up to 117 spm. The liquid end can be specified in PVC, Kynar or 316 stainless steel materials. In addition, the pump features 10-1 turndown by micrometer dial and a variable speed option, which allows for a greater turndown range and automated flow control.
