Elliott Group to Provide Cryogenic Pumps for Port Arthur LNG Project In Texas

Elliott Group is to supply cryogenic rotating equipment including cryogenic pumps, expanders, boil-off gas (BOG) compressors, and end flash gas (EFG) compressors for the Port Arthur LNG Phase 1 project in Jefferson County, Texas, USA.

The Port Arthur LNG Phase 1 project, which is being developed by Sempra Infrastructure, is designed to include two natural gas liquefaction trains, two liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tanks and associated facilities with a nameplate capacity of approximately 13 million tons per annum (Mtpa).

Elliott was awarded the contract by Bechtel Energy Inc., which is contracted to perform the detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, performance testing, and operator training activities for the project.
