Japan-based Ebara Corp. has opened a new distribution center in Vietnam for standard pumps. The new distribution center is housed in a bonded warehouse in an industrial park. With the new distribution center, Ebara will now be able to shorten delivery times for customers, reduce inventory, and promote proper inventory control. A number of standard pumps manufactured at Ebara’s factory in Italy will be stored in the new distribution center and shipped to Ebara companies throughout the region. Ebara has plans to build an assembly plant near the distribution center in the future.
