Drilling updates for Petrobras projects

Petrobras has published updates on their recent drilling activities throughout South America for the first three months of 2014.

On December 31, 2013, Petrobras’ Platform P-55 began in Module 3 of the Roncador field with a recorded output capacity of 180,000 barrels per day. There are currently operations underway to interconnect new wells to this platform.

On March 17th, Platform P-58 started up in Parque das Baleias, northern Campos Basin through pre-salt production well 7-BFR-7-ESS. This well has been producing approximately 20,000 barrels per day. In April, two similar wells are scheduled to start production.

Well JUB-45 began production in March and is connected to FPSO Capixaba. The potential for output is 18,500 barrels for day. Platform P-63 began injecting water in Pap-Terra field in the southern Campos Basin.

In addition, platforms P-62 and P-61 will start-up in the Campos Basin post-salt during the first half of this year. P-62 has an output capacity of 180,000 bopd and is located in the Roncador field. P-61 is located in the Papa-Terra field and will be interconnected to semisubmersible Tender Assisted Drilling (TAD) platform SS-88, which is already in Brazil.
