BPMA Appoints New Technical Service Officer

After holding a variety of roles at Xylem, in both the UK and Italy, and acquiring 30 years’ experience in the pump industry, Gary Wilde has been appointed as the new Technical Services Officer for the British Pump Manufacturer’s Association (BPMA).

Initially, Wilde’s role at the BPMA will be to ‘instigate and manage’ a number of special projects. Over time, the position will expand to encompass the majority of technical functions within the organization. As he has spent more than a decade on BPMA’s circulator pumps committee, Wilde says his role will be to support the pump industry and ensure that its voice is heard on all and any technical matters.

Steve Schofield, Director and CEO at the BPMA added, “We are delighted to be welcoming Gary into the team here at the BPMA.  He has been a longstanding supporter of the Association, having engaged with us extensively whilst working for Xylem here in the UK”.
