Amarinth Delivers Its First Pump Order to Siemens Energy

This was Amarinth’s first pump order from Siemens Energy. The four API 610 12th Edition OH5 Vertical In-line pumps were required on an extremely tight deadline of 28 working weeks to meet Siemens Energy’s project schedule with YPF, the main oil and natural gas producer in Argentina. The cooling water pumps will be installed in the Luján de Cuyo crude oil refinery, which is currently undergoing expansion and modernization.

Amarinth designed and manufactured the four pumps and carried out a full suite of hydrodynamic performance and mechanical witness testing before finally air-freighting the pumps to successfully meet the deadline set by Siemens Energy.

In addition to the four pumps, Amarinth also manufactured an operating spares package, including impellers, shafts, seals, wear rings and gaskets to accompany the pumps to Argentina.
